BYD’s Battery Box Premium HVM series features high-voltage battery packs with a capacity of 2.76 kWh each, designed for easy installation and maximum flexibility. The Battery Box HVM 11, for instance, consists of four HVM battery modules, a battery control unit, and a base unit, with individual modules available for separate purchase. These units are compatible with Sungrow’s SH5.0/6.0/8.0/10RT hybrid inverters. The innovative modular design employs a patented plug system that eliminates the need for internal wiring, enhancing safety and user convenience with cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology for optimal safety and longevity. Users can easily expand their systems, with tailored sizing options ranging from 5.1 to 66.2 kWh using up to three HVM 22.1 units in parallel. Engineered for high performance, the Battery Box Premium HVM is capable of providing robust emergency backup and off-grid functionality, boasting high efficiency through a genuine high-voltage series connection and adhering to the highest safety standards, including VDE 2510-50.
